Resumen
Se analiza el mercado laboral Ecuatoriano y la rentabilidad del sistema educativo entre 2007 y 2014.  La base de datos es del ENEMDU del INEC. Los trabajadores se dividieron en cuatro grupos: Dependiente Formal, Dependiente Informal, Independiente Informal e Independiente Formal siendo (categoría de referencia). Se determinan los principales factores que afectan la formalidad e informalidad en el mercado de trabajo y las principales variables del modelo son: Edad, Sexo, Estado civil, Nivel de Instrucción, Etnia, Región, Actividad según rama.

Abstract
The Ecuadorian labor market and the profitability of the educational system between 2007 and 2014 are analyzed. The database is from the ENEMDU of the INEC. The workers were divided into four groups: Formal Dependent, Informal Dependent, Informal Independent and Formal Independent being (reference category). The main factors that affect formality and informality in the labor market are determined and the main variables of the model are: Age, Sex, Marital status, Level of Education, Ethnicity, Region, Activity according to branch.
